Allowable Changes When Revising the GFE for a Rate Lock

When a lender issues a revised GFE to reflect that the rate has been locked, what blocks may be revised?

The lender will change:
  • Line 1 in the Important Dates to reflect how long the locked interest is good;
  • Line 4 in the Important Dates to state N/A;
  • Blocks 2, A and 10 on page 2 to reflect changes in interest-dependent charges; and
  • Any changed terms of the loan.
