The Fair Lending Compliance Best Practices for Federal Credit Unions helps ensure that the credit unions compliance program complies with fair lending laws and regulations. This document notes that “the fair lending policies and procedures should clearly state how the credit union will comply with fair lending laws and enable the credit union to serve the entire field of membership.” NCUA’s website also includes additional “frequently asked questions” regarding fair lending compliance.
