CFPB FILING FAQs - Can I submit HMDA data by the March 1st deadline with outstanding edits?

Compliance > Regulation C - HMDA > CFPB
Q:  Can I submit HMDA data by the March 1st deadline with outstanding edits?

A:   No. Beginning with the data collected in 2017, you will no longer be able to submit your HMDA data without correcting or validating all edits. All syntactical and validity edits must be corrected and quality and macro quality edits must be corrected or validated before you can file your HMDA data to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
