CFPB FILING FAQs - When I export my data into the pipe delimited text file, double quotes appear around certain rows of my data. Is that the correct format?

Compliance > Regulation C - HMDA > CFPB
Q:  When I export my data into the pipe delimited text file, double quotes appear around certain rows of my data. Is that the correct format?

A:   No. The double quotes appear around the data because there is a comma “,” within a data field in that specific row. Please remove the comma from the data field and re-export your HMDA data by selecting the “Create LAR File” button.
